From June 23 to July 4, 2025, the first-instance hearings in the Themis case (defendant: U.L.W.) will be held in Curaçao. These hearings will take place at the Marine Barracks in Suffisant, beginning on June 23 at 9:30 AM. The proceedings may continue throughout each day, depending on the case’s progression.
Because of the case’s significance for both Curaçao and Sint Maarten, the Courthouse in Sint Maarten will offer a livestream for public viewing. This allows interested parties in Sint Maarten to follow developments closely and in real time. Everyone is encouraged to take this opportunity to stay informed.

To ensure order and respect for legal protocols, the same rules that apply in the courtroom also apply during the livestream. All forms of audio or video recording are strictly prohibited. Attendees must observe proper conduct and maintain a respectful environment throughout the session.
