Meeting of the Watch Cell in Quartier d’Orléans

On Monday, May 26, the Watch Cell of the CLSPD met in Quartier d’Orléans.

Institutional and community stakeholders gathered with a shared goal:

to strengthen public peace and social cohesion in the area.

This meeting pursued several objectives:

  1. Assess the state of public peace in the neighborhood
  2. Improve coordination of local efforts to foster social cohesion
  3. Present the main points of a future Public Peace Charter, developed in collaboration with local stakeholders
  4. Lay the groundwork for a specific action plan for Quartier d’Orléans, aligned with the Territorial Safety and Prevention Plan approved by the President of the Collectivity, the Prefect, and the Public Prosecutor

Discussions proved dynamic and constructive.

As a result,

participants aligned on shared priorities and began shaping a concrete roadmap.

Moreover,

this initial gathering launched a renewed momentum for collaboration among institutions,

associations, and residents.

The CLSPD reaffirmed its mission:

to serve as a forum for dialogue, strategy,

and implementation of concrete initiatives that enhance collective well-being.

Furthermore, the Council already scheduled a follow-up meeting for the end of June 2025.

During that session,

members will aim to showcase tangible

progress and provide responses to residents’ concerns.

Mr. Thierry VERRES, Deputy Director General of the Security and Public Peace Delegation

Chief Brigadier Patrice TOMA of the Territorial Police

Mr. Hénoc PATRICK, Prevention and Security Project Manager, CLSPD Coordinator

Additionally, active community members from Neighborhood Council No. 1, along with social and economic actors, contributed to the discussion.
