From 14 to 20 June, the Netherlands Armed Forces in the Caribbean will carry out a hurricane emergency response exercise across the Windward Islands.

This operation focuses on close collaboration with local emergency services and safety partners on Sint Maarten, Saba, and Sint Eustatius.

Squadron Carib from Aruba, the support ship HNLMS Pelikaan, FRISC vessels, and additional support elements from the Royal Netherlands Navy and Netherlands Marine Corps. Their presence ensures continuity, local expertise, and swift mobilization.
