Police Force Sint Maarten issuing final request to the rightful owners of scooters

The Police Force of Sint Maarten is issuing a final request to the rightful owners of scooters that have been impounded over the past year. Several individuals who have been approached by the police now have the opportunity to retrieve their vehicles during this weekend and up until Monday, January 6th, 2025, between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM.

To recover your scooter, owners must present valid documentation and proof of insurance at the Police Station in Philipsburg.

The contact person for this matter is Officer J. Abreau, who will be available to assist during the specified times.

This serves as the final opportunity for owners to reclaim their property. After the deadline, the Sint Maarten Police Force will proceed with the disposal of all unclaimed scooters in accordance with the law.

We urge all individuals who believe their scooter may be among those impounded to act promptly. For further information, please contact the Philipsburg Police Station at 1721-5422222.
