Black Friday Promotions and Festive Events Impacting Philipsburg and Cul-de-Sac
The Sint Maarten Police Force (KPSM) wishes to inform the public of anticipated disruptions to traffic flow in the Philipsburg and Cul-de-Sac areas due to Black Friday shopping activities. Increased vehicular congestion has been observed, and motorists are urged to plan their journeys accordingly to minimize delays.
The Christmas Parade
KPSM is also pleased to announce the return of Christmas Parad.. The parade will take place today, Friday, November 29, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
The parade will commence at the Head of Town and proceed along Front Street, concluding at Captain Hodge Wharf. During this period, traffic restrictions will be in effect in the vicinity of Front Street. Residents and visitors are encouraged to enjoy the festivities while being mindful of these changes.
Fifth Annual Back Street Black Friday Bonanza
On Saturday, November 30, 2024, the Fifth Annual Back Street Black Friday Bonanza will be held from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM
To facilitate this event, Back Street will be closed to vehicular traffic from Emma Plain to Tamarinde Steeg. Drivers are strongly advised to seek alternative routes during this time.
