At the beginning of this week officers executed a traffic control operation across key streets in Philipsburg, including Front Street, Cannegieter Street, and Cyril Webster Street. The outcomes of this operation were as follows:
A total of 80 vehicles were stopped and inspected.
64 fines were issued for various traffic infractions.

As the high season approaches, the KPSM will be intensifying its traffic control operations. Motorists are urged to adhere to traffic regulations and cooperate with law enforcement to ensure both the safety of the public and the smooth flow of traffic throughout the community.
In light of these operations, the KPSM strongly advises all vehicle owners and drivers to:
Ensure that all vehicle documentation is current and valid.
Regularly inspect the mechanical condition of their vehicles.
Avoid parking in unauthorized areas to prevent penalties.
The KPSM remains dedicated to maintaining order and ensuring road safety. The police force appreciates the public’s continued cooperation and reminds everyone that compliance with traffic regulations is vital for the well-being and safety of all road users.
