Justice Minister Lyndon Lewis Office Searched by Detectives Friday Morning St Maarten

The office of the Minister of Justice Lyndon Lewis was searched on Friday just after 8:00am. The Prosecutor’s Office (OM) has been tight lipped about the search but confirmed that the search took place.
In an invited comment to Newsdek the prosecution spokesperson stated that the Central Team and RST, under the supervision of the investigating judge, conducted a search inside the Ministry of Justice today, Friday, October 18, 2024.
The aim was to look for incriminating or disculpatory evidence in a criminal investigation.” No word as yet om whether Minister Lewis who is also the Minister of Eduction and a Parliament member of the NOW party is the main suspect in the criminal investigation.
In the interest of the investigation, no further information will be made public at this time. No official word from the Minister about the search or Prime Minister Luc Mercilina who is responsible for this current intern government.
